Selby Gardens Sweethearts: Emily + Adam Engagements

Just in time for Valentine’s Day, this engagement session overflows with sweetness & love. Emily + Adam (who are getting married THIS Saturday) wanted to do a few setups, a vintage-looking picnic (complete with typewriter for Adam the writer), something modern and romantic + anything that could include their new dog, McQueen. We started the day nestled in a banyan tree oasis at Marie Selby Botanical Gardens, then continued to wander the beautiful grounds after they changed into a dressier look. They timed their outfit change perfectly because as closing time rapidly approached, I thought for sure we’d be kicked out. But I’m pretty sure they were mistaken for wedding guests (a tiny gorgeous wedding was taking place at the same time) and we managed to sneak a few more as the sun began to fall. The backyard of Emily’s parents’ house was the perfect spot for ADORABLE McQueen to run around and be himself. Such a beautiful family, these three! Can’t wait to capture their wedding this weekend.
